Opening my own business has been a dream for quite some time, and while I never imagined it would lead me to catering, I’ve fallen in love with every part of this industry—and I have no plans of turning back.

I’ve lived in the Rockford area my whole life, and my roots here run deep. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from some incredible mentors in the catering world, where I honed my skills and discovered my true passion. Those experiences shaped not only my culinary style but also my dedication to providing every client—corporate or private—with a thoughtful, personalized experience.

 

My love of cooking is something that was instilled in me from a very young age. Some of my fondest memories are of standing in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, laughing as we prepared family recipes and experimented with new ones. My mother’s warmth, guidance, and joy in the kitchen inspired my own approach to cooking—focusing on flavor, attention to detail, and creating experiences that bring people together. Even now, I carry her love of food and entertaining into every dish I prepare, hoping to honor her memory with each meal we serve.

 

I’m thrilled to share that my husband, Matt, has joined me full-time in growing Perfectly Seasoned. Together, we are passionate about making every event memorable—whether it’s a corporate lunch for multiple shifts, a wedding reception, or a private dinner party. We love connecting with clients, understanding their vision, and bringing it to life with beautifully prepared, perfectly seasoned food.

 

I also want to thank our two beautiful girls, Ariana and Kathryn, for inspiring me every day to follow my dreams. While running a catering business means long hours and busy weekends, it’s our hope that they see firsthand that with passion, hard work, and dedication, anything is possible.
